Gently detangle with a wide-tooth comb starting from the ends and working upward. Wash in cool water with sulfate-free shampoo, using downward motions only. Condition the mid-lengths and ends, avoiding the roots. Pat dry with a soft towel and allow to air dry completely before styling. Use heat protectant spray before blow-drying or using hot tools. Store on a silk pillowcase or in a breathable pouch when not wearing. Avoid chlorine, saltwater, and excessive heat. Brush through gently each morning and evening to prevent tangling.
